**What this role is all about**:
The primary purpose of this role is to provide high-quality financial advice and services to meet the needs of new and existing members. This is done by actively engaging members at their first point of contact to identify their financial needs and then promoting personal banking solutions along with meeting member’s core transactional needs. The Money Advisor maintains and grows the member portfolio by identifying members’ needs and referring them to our business partners as appropriate. The successful incumbent has an entrepreneurial spirit and takes personal initiative.

This will be a **Mobile Money Advisor** role with a focus on supporting Main Street, Richmond Center, and West Richmond branches. Assignment to other union branches, or any location in our branch network in the lower mainland, as part of our Mobile Money Advisor team, may be needed from time to time.

**What you’ll do**:

- Builds relationships with credit union members, including seeking out new members and opening new accounts, along with maintaining positive and productive relationships with existing members.
- Provides full-cycle account services including processing general banking transactions, identifying and processing deposit, investment and lending needs and resolving account issues.
- Proactively connects with members to identify needs as well as seek opportunities for additional and future business, and strengthen members’ banking relationships with Beem Credit Union.
- Collaborates with branches and other departments, and provides referrals to product specialists, to ensure a superior member experience and increase business across the credit union.
- Builds and maintains a professional network within the branch and local community and represents Beem Credit Union as a positive community partner.

**Education & Experience**
- 1-2 years’ experience in a sales and service-oriented role
- Part-time Availability
- Driver License
- Availability on Mondays, Saturdays and one additional week day
- Open to commute to Vancouver and Richmond branches
- Excellent customer service and strong relationship building abilities
- Entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit
- Self-initiative in driving your career and personal development
- Degree or diploma in Business or Finance is an preferred; general understanding of retail banking principles is an asset
