The Community Service Delivery Division develops programs and provides services that support individuals with intellectual disability. The division manages community-based offices in partnership with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA), ACCESS centres, and health and social development centres in Winnipeg. Through these offices, the public can receive services including: Children’s disability Services, Community Living disABILITY Services, Residential Care Licensing, Family Conciliation Services, Employment and Income Assistance (EIA), and Child and Family Services.

Conditions of Employment:

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including the vulnerable sector search).
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel for business purposes.
- Must provide a satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check.
- Must provide a satisfactory Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:
**Essential**:

- Effective communication skills in both official languages, English and French.
- Post-secondary degree in a social sciences field (Bachelor of Social Work preferred).
- Case management experience in an integrated services environment that includes brief counselling, conducting assessments, service planning, service coordination, and follow-up. Other acceptable combinations of education and related experience may be considered at a commensurate classification and salary level.
- Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or families with children with disabilities, recognizing the challenges they face and providing supports based on their individual needs.
- Experience conducting risk assessments for adults with disabilities and/or families with children with disabilities, with a crisis intervention and protections lens.
- Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills; interacts sensitively and respectfully in a non-judgmental manner with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Effective written communication skills.
- Experience working independently within a multi-disciplinary team.

**Desired**:

- Basic knowledge of Community Living disability Services and/or Children’s disability Services and services offered.
