The Silver Group is a family owned and operated company specializing in the management of Residential and Commercial property management throughout Ontario and Quebec. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Property Coordinator at our head office on Clyde Avenue in Ottawa.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Under the direction of the Senior Property Manager this individual will be assisting with the day-to-day operations supporting properties in our Canadian portfolio.
- Understanding the Residential Tenancies Act with respect to landlord rights and obligations, for example notice of entry, request of access, etc.:

- Resident communications in a timely and professional manner
- Oversee resident and staff communication, assist Building Managers with emergency situations.
- Oversees AR tasks as assigned.
- Data entry of insurance records for residents and ensuring any that are expiring or may have expired are followed up with immediately.
- Assisting with ensuring all leases are input in our system and are updated and past residents are archived.
- Assisting with overseeing maintenance concerns, contracts, and records.
- Perform all facets of the job in accordance with the legislation applicable to the jurisdiction, including Health and Safety Standards, WHIMIS, AODA, PIPEDA and Human Rights:

- Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, under the direction of the Senior Property Manager.

**Technical Competencies**

**Education**:A college diploma or a trade certificate in a related field would be considered an asset.

**Experience**: A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience

**Specialized Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities**:

- Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to influence without authority/directing others.
- Interpersonal Skills
- Good judgement
- Communication skills, (listening, verbal and written)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Initiative and creative
- Excels in a high volume, dynamic and fast paced environment and enjoy new challenge.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management skills, high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work in a team as well as independently and display maturity of a competent self-starter.

**Salary & Benefits**
- Salary to be negotiated based on experience.
- Company benefits to commence 90 days after hire date.
