Excel Restoration has been in business for over 20 years. Our growing company provides 24/7 emergency response, restoration, and reconstruction services to insurance industry, residential and commercial customers. We offer a wide range of services that remediate conditions caused by fire, water, wind, sewer, and other hazards. Currently, we work mainly with two major insurance companies to mitigate emergencies and facilitate timely repairs for their clients.

As a Project Manager, you would be responsible for organizing, leading and controlling all aspects of emergency /restoration projects as well as renovation projects. This includes scoping, sketching, estimating, budgeting, coordination of resources, and communication with insured and adjuster. This position is instrumental in ensuring that property owners have an outstanding customer experience and are informed and satisfied throughout the entire process.

**Qualifications**:

- At least one year experience in restoration/construction industry preferred
- Understanding of procedures relating to insurance losses preferred but not required
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills and demonstrate effective interpersonal abilities, customer service skills, time management skills, multitasking skills, communication and writing skills
- Proficient software skills - MS Office Suite including OneDrive; Xactimate and Xactanalysis
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the public - Valid BC driver's license - Clean criminal record check
- Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and potentially after-hours work Duties &

**Responsibilities**:

- Attend insurance claims to assess damages; communicate with the client and ensure they understand the work that needs to take place and timing of service delivery
- Complete work scopes including sketches, estimates, reports for insurance companies and adjusters in a timely manner
- Communicate with lead water damage technician on the mitigation work needed, sample testing and/or sub-trade services required
- Liaise with appropriate departments and sub-trades to ensure that work is completed on time and on budget; monitor job costings
- Communicate with customers regarding any concerns or complaints they may have

**Additional Information**:

- Salary commensurate with experience

- Personal Protective Equipment is available for use and at times is mandatory (half-face respirator, shoe covers, face masks, etc).

**Salary**: From $75,000.00 per year
