Job Summary
The Inventory Technician, as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, performs a variety of inventory, equipment and instrument related activities in support of patient care. Responsibilities include maintaining appropriate levels of supplies and available equipment required for patient care.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 education preferred or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario Ministry of Education
- One year current experience in supplies acquisition, distribution and inventory management within a surgical environment
- Knowledge of universal Body Substance Precautions
- Proven ability to attend work regularly
- Demonstrated current knowledge and skill in the use of medical electronic health record systems
- Demonstrated willingness to learn/innovate
- Demonstrates analytical skills in relation to knowledge of hospital operations
- Effective organizational and prioritizing skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
