TNDS is a leading tax consulting firm specializing in navigating the Disability Tax Credit (DTC) and maximizing unclaimed credits and benefits for our clients through the Canada Revenue Agency. We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Tax Specialist who will be integral in processing tax adjustments and managing client reassessments and refunds. This role demands a high degree of precision and consistency, as the workload is steady and methodical, requiring exceptional accuracy.

Objective:
The primary goal of the Tax Specialist is to efficiently process tax adjustments for clients approved for relevant tax credits and benefits. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to meet or surpass key performance indicators and objectives outlined at the start of each fiscal year.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and submit adjustment requests to the CRA to expedite the completion of tax returns.
- Engage with the CRA to monitor the progress of client adjustments and address any discrepancies in the process.
- Accurately and promptly update client records in our CRM system.

Qualifications:

- Experience in tax preparation is essential.
- Proficiency in utilizing the CRA’s Change My Return system. Deep understanding of personal taxation and CRA procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and computer skills.
- A commitment to embracing and embodying the values and processes of TNDS.

This role offers the applicant the ability to work from home within the Metro Vancouver or Fraser Valley regional districts.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
