Our client is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic **SALES/SERVICE BDC REPRESENTATIVE**to join their growing team. This dual-role position supports both sales and service departments, enhancing the customer experience while driving growth and loyalty.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
As a **Sales/Service BDC Representative,** you will be the bridge between the dealership and its customers. Through initiative-taking communication, scheduling expertise, and excellent customer care, you will foster long-term relationships while meeting dealership goals. Your ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment will set you apart in this role.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Essential Sales Responsibilities**
- Proactively engage with prospective and existing clients to develop and maintain strong relationships.
- Schedule sales appointments and track follow-ups ensuring seamless coordination with the sales team.
- Support dealership marketing initiatives by contacting customers about promotions, campaigns, and retention programs.
- Provide post-appointment follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify opportunities to convert service appointments into sales leads, contributing to monthly sales goals.
**Essential Service Responsibilities**
- Manage inbound and outbound communications to schedule and confirm service appointments.
- Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and the parts department to meet customer needs efficiently.
- Promote service specials, recalls, and maintenance packages, upselling additional services when appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate customer records in the dealership CRM system, including retention lists and follow-up schedules.
- Proactively manage missed appointments and rebooking efforts to maximize service capacity.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or bilingualism is an asset.
- Proven experience in customer service, telemarketing, or business development (automotive preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and CRM/data entry systems. Experience with CDK/Reynolds dealership systems an asset.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently or in a team environment.
- Positive and professional attitude with customer-first approach.
- Must be OMVIC (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council) registered or have the ability to be OMVIC registered.
