**Schedule **:Monday to Friday, 4pm to 12:00am (evening shift)

**Place of Work**: CRF AgriTech LP’s plant, 263 Edwards St, St Thomas, Ontario.

**_THE CHALLENGES WE OFFER_**

Reporting to the Plant Manager of the location, here are the main responsibilities of the role:
**_ Control room duties_**
- Start, monitor, and stop the automated production system.
- Monitor and troubleshoot process equipment to ensure all parameters are within stipulated guidelines.
- Ensure all conveyors are tracked and performing at optimum capacity.
- Ensure raw material conveyance system is clear and unimpeded to mitigate against unplanned production interruptions.
- Direct, train, and educate floor operators to all production expectations.
- Monitor overall system performance including scale calibrations.
- Keep inventories up to date and report usage trends.
- Monitor and interpret computerized/process data.
- Inspect mixers, table feeders, and scale hoppers to ensure adequate function.
- Maintain and record production data including raw material usage.
- Inspect MCC room and validate electrical and instrumentation requirements to ensure compliance within acceptable limits.
- Share critical information regarding quality with QA/QC department.
- From the control room, assist the floor operators to load and unload railcars and trucks of bulk materials.

**_QA/QC duties_**
- Report chemical ratios to QA/QC department to ensure quality conformance.
- Assist QA/QC department in sample collection as required.

**_Other plant duties_**
- Interact and participate in decisions with maintenance members for the proper functioning of the production processes.
- Perform all other related tasks to ensure the smooth running of operations.
- Operate a wheel loader and forklift as required.

**_YOU FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE_**
- You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in control room operations; (an advantage)
- Post secondary technical diploma or certification required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including overtime to ensure production targets are met.
- Willingness to comply with all established safety and PPE requirements.
- You have exceptional knowledge of technologies and MS Office suite.
- You are recognized for your ability to communicate and organize your priorities.
- You communicate and rely on teamwork to mobilize your colleagues.
- You are rigorous and pay particular attention to details to respect the standards established by the organization.
- You are in good physical condition and can work at heights.
- You can lift or carry loads of up to 30 pounds.
