Hookah Attendant

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated hookah enthusiast to join our team as we open up Calgary's best hookah lounge We are looking for someone who has an extensive knowledge on hookah/seesha, who can handle packing and prepping the hookahs and can go above and beyond when serving customers. The hours would be from 6:00pm - 2:00am weekdays with shifts on the weekends available too, pay range starts from $16 an hour but will be based off of prior experience.

**Duties**
- Serve hookahs promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist in the sanitation of tables, utensils, and dining areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance guest experience through upselling techniques.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Adhere to food / hookah safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
- Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Hookah setting up knowledge and how to attend the tables throughout their stay (coals, flavours etc)
- Ability to sanitize work areas effectively and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to assist guests effectively.
- Capability to upsell menu items creatively while understanding customer preferences.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 30 per week
