Altex Industries is a fabrication, engineering and service company that specialize in providing heat transfer equipment and service for the oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a full-time, permanent Mobilization/Equipment Coordinator for the dayshift.

The Mobilization/Equipment Coordinator is responsible for providing Supply Chain solutions to the Field Service and Manufacturing Operations to ensure a constant and accurate supply of materials and equipment, in accordance with Altex SOPs, Municipal, Provincial and Federal Government rules, regulations and legislation, while maintaining a service-oriented attitude towards all company departments.

**Responsibilities**:
Coordinate all documents and reports with Vendors, Clients, Shared Services, Field Service, and Manufacturing Operations.Coordination of all material and equipment quality inspections and testingCoordination of all materials and equipment movement between internal and external locationsCoordination of planning and scheduling for material and equipmentConfirm accuracy of all material and equipment documents and reportsCoordination of system recording, physical cycle counts and daily inputs to maintain accurate inventoryMaintain accurate record keeping and document control as required by various Government agencies and company policiesMaintain flow of inventory that guarantees optimum stock levels that meet manufacturing or field service goalsPerform inventory cycle counts on an ongoing basis and maintain accurate stock levels based on supply, demand and sales trendsMaintain awareness of internal and external factors and assist in the event of shortages, overages or delayed deliveries to minimize impact on manufacturing or field servicePerform other duties as required

**Requirements**:
2 years of experience in as an Equipment CoordinatorHigh school diplomaForklift (stand-up) Operator certification; Telehandler Certificate, operate pallet jacks, small hand and power tools, banding/wrapping equipmentLogistics, transportation, equipment, inventory control experiences an asset; equipment and machinery experienceStrong computer skills and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem-solving and strong organization skills requiredWork conditions and physical capabilities - tight deadlines, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, repetitive tasksWeight Handling - Up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)

Day Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm (40 hours/week)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $24.49 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

- Forklift Certificate or Telehandler Certificate (preferred)
