Peak Power develops and connects battery storage, grid-interactive buildings, and electric vehicle assets in a single software platform for partners to pursue net zero goals, cut operating expenses, and unlock new revenue opportunities.

**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting, the Accounting Coordinator will work with a talented group of within our Finance team and business stakeholders in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

This work matters. Even a small change to optimize electricity usage can significantly impact our customers, electrical grid, and environment. We're building something that will have a lasting, positive impact.

**Our new Accounting Coordinator will**:
**Deliver. **You have excellent time management, and prioritization skills, to ensure operational performance targets and deadlines are met or exceeded.
- Accurate, timely, and relevant financial analysis including monthly results
- Design KPI's and ad-hoc presentations
- Financial transactions AP/AR and related accounting
- Billing and collection follow up with Clients and escalate to sales

**Report. **You will monitor and report on progress, methodically evaluate processes and systems to improve efficiency; and implement processes that provide transparency and tracking
- Month-end closing activities
- Budgeting and forecasting relative to Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows
- Compliance with IFRS accounting principles and internal control SOX requirements

**Collaborate.** You have strong interpersonal and communication skills enabling you to coordinate and work efficiently with stakeholders

**Grow. **You are a critical thinker who can seize opportunities to create value for Peak Power’s long-term vision for optimizing power utilization and energy storage. You will proactively identify opportunities to improve operational performance, efficiency.
- Contribute through suggesting new process improvement initiatives and work on specialized projects

**What you will bring to Peak Power**:
**The experience and education.** You have proven experience delivering success in a fast-paced, multi-tasking role where you are comfortable working autonomously.
- A degree in finance or accounting
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Experience using an accounting software

- Eagerness to share suggestions to improve processes and organizational efficiency
