**About This Opportunity**:
Windsor Medical Clinic is seeking a family physician to Locum, covering a leave from Dec 26, 2024 to April 15, 2025. The clinic's regular schedule operates Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. A full staff which includes two administrators, and an LPN are available to the locum. There are no evening, weekend or on call hours. We are not a walk-in clinic, private practice only.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Examine patients and take their histories, order diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures; advise patients on health care, health promotion, and disease prevention

Consultation and referral to other medical practitioners’

Act as a patient’s advocate

Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculations and vaccinations

Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases as per Nova Scotia Public Health requirements

**Expected Hours**:
This is a locum position. Details to be discussed with clinic.

**Qualifications**:
Eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)

Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)

Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
