Construction Survey Crew Assistant

Small, progressive, well established Geomatics/Civil Engineering Services Firm located in Lethbridge, Alberta looking for Construction Survey Assistant

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Take Direction from Survey Crew Chief for Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
- Be responsible for care and maintenance of truck and equipment
- Be responsible for import/export of daily data (stakeout and observed data)
- Keep clear, complete and accurate field notes
- Perform and assist with various survey tasks, including but not limited to: Site Surveys/Preliminary Surveys, Volume Surveys, Building, Road and Deep Utility Layout and Earthworks Surveys

**Job Skill Requirements**:

- First year student in Diploma Geomatics Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting considered an asset
- Previous construction industry experience considered an asset
- Familiarity with Autodesk Products, such as AutoCad Civil 3D, AutoCad Map and Autocad considered an asset.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License (Drivers Abstract may be required)
- Attentive to Detail
- Be a Team Player, with an enthusiastic attitude
- Be physically fit

Start Date - Immediately

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
