- A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada
- Experience in; soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice.

**About the Hospital**

It was back in 2005 when we launched our veterinary practice in Sechelt. Our intent was to offer not only high-quality medicine, but also a down-to-earth team approach emphasizing the importance of our relationship with our pet owners. We wanted to make sure they knew they were a critical part of the team. We were absolutely blown away by the response, the warm welcome, the friendships we made and the important role Sunshine Coast Pet Owners have allowed us to play within their families.

It has been a successful adventure for our hospital and our mobile veterinary service. Our mobile service has allowed us to see owners and their pets wherever they live. Now 18 years later we are in our new fully-renovated hospital on Cowrie Street seeing our new and old friends. We have merged cutting edge medicine such as digital technology and virtual tele-health solutions with alternative therapies such as cold laser therapy to get better health outcomes for the pets.

We are so proud and privileged to make such a positive impact in the lives of our clients and pets. The owners have truly been our sounding board. Their word-of-mouth support of our practices have been shared with other pet owners in off-leash dog parks, on trails and at our beaches.

Every day in conversations with our pet owners we understand the uniquely important connection pets and owners celebrate together. Owners talk with delight about their grandchildren, their last holiday and share funny stories. It is a privilege for us to be a part of their lives.

Our new location is a house which for our pets and owners is a more relaxed setting. They don’t get the feeling that they are going to a hospital. Our new hospital home is full of natural light. We have paid attention to every detail including infused fragrances to ensure our pet patients have the best most relaxed exceptional hospital care.

Our partnership with VCA Canada began in early 2020 when we became VCA Canada Sunshine Coast Animal Hospital and Mobile Service. Same team, same service, but we are now part of a larger network of veterinary hospitals in Canada that perform both general medicine and specialty services
