**YOUR ROLE**

As Metrix grows and we continue to take on an increasing number of scientifically complex projects, we are looking for a Medical Editor & Reviewer. This role involves reviewing work across project teams to ensure it’s scientifically accurate and client-ready.

You’ll work closely with a team of medical writers, graphic designers, account managers, and learning strategists who will help you kick off your career in our exciting Learning industry

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
- Edit projects for organization, style, flow, accuracy and clarity of message, as well as adherence to client/brand and learning objectives
- Proofread at every round of review
- Fact-check to ensure all content is accurate and appropriately referenced
- Understand the objective of each deliverable and review for appropriate use of any product claims, images, footnotes, references, etc.
- Review all on-screen content, audio transcript and narration (of digital learning solutions) and ensure it matches the storyboard and is pronounced correctly
- Reference the story board to ensure:

- Animations are present and correct per the developer notes
- Learning activities and progress checks are scored correctly
- Work collaboratively with your team(s), meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Act as an expert resource on grammar, punctuation, and other editorial issues
- Provide direction/guidance and feedback to your project teams; we’d love to see your creative input, too
- Attend and participate in internal meetings
- Share our company values and add your unique and positive contribution to our inquisitive, friendly company culture

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**
- MSc or PhD in the life sciences, Oncology expertise preferred
- Must be able to comprehend and effectively relay complex scientific/medical information
- Strong organizational skills with a propensity for detail
- Ability to work independently with efficiency and accuracy
- Experience writing scientific and medical reports
- Experience in desktop publishing using Microsoft Word an asset
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry an asset
