VP of Sales/Marketing - Canada and US
As Longboard’s VP of Sales/Marketing, you will own the development and execution of our Sales and Marketing strategy in the Canadian and US Markets. You will be responsible for overseeing strategic planning while also maintaining excellence in tactical execution on a day-to-day basis.

**What You Will Do**:
- Provide leadership within the company by contributing to the development of our overall growth plan and collaborating with leaders at all levels of the organization to support the fulfillment of Longboard’s vision, our core values, and our goal of radical client care.
- Together with the executive team, develop an overarching sales and marketing strategy for both Canada and the United States that optimizes profitable growth and creates long-term value for both our clients and the company.
- Conduct thorough market assessments to ensure our products are correctly positioned in various geographic locations/segments and ensure the optimal channel mix is being utilized.
- Create a professional sales and marketing team by hiring, developing, and motivating staff to be successful in their roles.
- Oversee the creation and execution of annual plans, quarterly sales targets, and operating budgets.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to develop and implement our sales and marketing activities, with KPIs to track progress and success.
**Qualifications**:
- Deep understanding of sales/marketing strategies in the premium architectural solutions space.
- 10+ years experience in a senior-level sales role that focuses on strategic planning and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead and motivate high-performing teams to achieve audacious results.
- Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or Communications preferred.
- Demonstrated history of using analytical, data-driven decision-making to achieve the objectives set in our organizations strategic plan.
- Naturally calm under pressure, adaptable, persuasive, and open to feedback and new ideas.
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, market research, product positioning and change management.
- Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
- Ability to travel internationally for meetings, trade shows, negotiations and other events as required.
