**SUMMARY**: The individual in this position is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service, sales and support in their environment. Maintain showroom appearance, cleanliness and presentation. Services walk-in clients and answer incoming calls. Supports Furniture Project Coordinator with various administrative tasks.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Greet and serve customers in a professional and courteous manner and ensure customers are promptly attended to.

Assist retail sales by offering the customer a complete solution to their presented needs and attempting to close the sale with every customer.

Keep current on product knowledge and information.

Check out customers at front cash.

Coordination and follow up of order entry, order management, invoicing, customer credits

Ensure that all used inventory is well stocked, priced correctly and clearly.

Maintain cleanliness throughout the showroom and merchandise

Answer and transfer calls to the appropriate department/team member.

Safeguard that effective cash and inventory control procedures are in use at all times.

Maintain a business-like relationship and communicate with fellow team members, managers and all other personnel.

Attend Team and Department Meetings.

Be available for internal and external challenges and emergencies that may arise.

Reflect a quality image for Beatties, yourself and your customers

Ensure all opening and closing procedures for the store are followed

Manage and expedite customer work orders/repairs/returns

Ensure follow up to customer calls

Other duties as assigned.

**EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS**:

- Communicative; able to communicate in a professional manner, both internally
- Independent; flexible and capable of setting priorities pertaining to work loads.
- Organized; able to organize daily duties by multitasking, managing your time and communicating realistic expectations.

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
