**Liaison Librarian**

**Limited Term Appointment**

a twelve-month limited term liaison librarian position that will focus on the sciences, engineering and
architecture. The preferred start date is January 1, 2024_._ The Limited Term Appointment ends December 31,
2024.

**The Science, Engineering and Architecture Librarian will**:

- _Provide specialized information services for programs in the sciences, engineering and architecture, _
- in English and French. _
- _Develop and maintain the sciences, engineering and architecture collections. _
- _Contributing generally to the work of the Department of the Library and Archives. _
- _Engaging in scholarly activity and in university governance. _
_Provide reference services, in English and French. _
- _A Master’s degree in Library/Information Science from an ALA-accredited program. _
- _Current knowledge of science, engineering and architectural resources. _
- _Functional knowledge of science, engineering and architecture-related technologies. _
- _Excellent communication skills, oral and written (English and French). _
- _Excellent interpersonal skills. _
A Master’s degree in the sciences, engineering or architecture and previous academic library experience,
preferably two years, will be an asset.
