Quik’s Farm is looking for a qualified ICT Administrator to tackle the growing technology portfolio for our company. As part of this position, you will be assisting in the implementation of new software project’s as well as maintaining and updating company networks and equipment across various locations.

The ICT Administrator is responsible to integrate and update our communication technology, install, and maintain computer systems, software systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. You will also train users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the ICT infrastructure.

The goal is to integrate, maintain, update, and ensure efficient communication systems, computer systems, software systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Project planning, software integration, and collaboration with software experts
- Prepare and roll out training for team members on software upgrades
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, phones, etc.)
- Check communication and computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
- Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software, communication, and computer equipment
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
- Create and manage user accounts
- Implement and develop up to date communication framework
- Taking care of ICT emergencies
- Analyze and evaluate current communication and IT framework
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
- Identify computer, communication, or network equipment shortages and place orders

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as **ICT Administrator,** relevant position, or education
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication ability
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- In depth understanding of diverse computer systems, networks and hardware including printers, scanners, photocopiers, smart phones, laptops, etc.
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Certification as ICT Technician will be an advantage
