**AboutthePosition**:
A Leasing Administrator plays an integral role in achieving occupancy goals and maintaining customer service at the property level. This role does not simply “fill empty suites”. It is important that the Leasing Administrator gather all pertinent information required to determine whether a prospective resident will be a good fit with the community.

**Key Functions and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing and maintaining occupancies.
- Following up on all leads
- Showing prospective residents available suites and selling the benefits of the amenities and the community
- Provide update-to-date rental information to prospective residents.
- Effectively closing the sale
- Facilitate all administrative responsibilities associated with leasing activity and move-in inspection with resident.
- Understand what suites are available, the dates they suites are available for;
- Scope of the renovations that will be completed in the suite at turnover;
- Status of the renovations.

**Required Skills and Abilities**:

- Prepare resident arrival ensuring the coordination of a smooth move-in and move-out for all parties.
- Maintain resident database.
- Assign resident parking and maintain the parking lot.
- Administration of assignments
- Coordination of party room rentals for residents
- First line of response for all resident’s requests and inquiries in a prompt and professional manner
- Prepare mass and individual resident communications such as notices, construction updates, maintenance repairs, rent arrears, e-newsletters, and events.
- Understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act with respect to landlord rights and obligations
- Organization of resident events
- Writing work orders for maintenance department based on information from residents, technicians or based on information gathered from site visits.
- Maintain logs related to the following: Essential Lead Maintenance (EMP), project lists for the individual towers and unit turnover.
- Bank deposits and monthly rent collection reporting
- Submit daily, weekly, monthly reports as requested.
- Conduct yourself in a friendly and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school or equivalent
- 1 year of sales or leasing experience in a relevant field
