FlagShip Courier Solutions is continuing to grow, and we are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Logistics Clerk that will work with customer, carriers and co-workers on keeping logistics shipments moving and delivered on time. The Logistics Clerk is the glue that keeps the department on its toes and in-the-know about every detail, of every shipment.

This position will report into the Logistics Supervisor.
- **FlagShip is located in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, and open to applicants Canada-wide, as this position is remote work.**_

**Responsibilities**
- Much of the day is spent communicating with others, oral and written communication with customers, carriers and fellow employees.
- Prepare certificates of origin, bills of lading, NAFTA certificates of origin and shipper export declaration. The logistics clerk also communicates with freight forwarders, third-party warehousing and transportation companies.
- Tracking logistic order pickups for customers, ensuring the shipments are picked up and delivered on time. This involves receiving a daily report for all in-transit shipments, checking online for any updates on the carrier websites, and connecting with the carriers directly to get additional information.
- Communicating shipment status to customers, including any changes and / or delays in transit. Answer phone calls to the logistics department to see what the client needs are before passing them over to the dispatchers.
- Send documents to the carrier and clients.
- Adding new carriers into the FlagShip system. Update insurance information from the carrier.
- Assists the logistics supervisor and dispatcher with daily shipping activities.

**Qualifications**
- Bilingual, French and English
- At least one year of experience in logistics
- At least one year of experience performing clerical duties and data entry in a professional setting
- Exposure to all domestic and international paperwork is an asset
- Must be capable of working unsupervised in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detail-oriented, well-organized and able to multi-task

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
