Transfer Credit and Graduate Coordinator

**Position Purpose and Summary**

**Key Areas of Accountability**
- Maintain and optimize all Transfer Credit databases (internal and external) related to TWU. This includes BC Council of Admissions and Transfers, BC Transfer Guide, and the TWU Transfer Credit database ensuring their accuracy and that the policies and procedure of each system are met.
- Evaluate courses for transfer credit and assign transfer credit to student in the student record, including Letters of Permission and advance standing requests.
- Ensure the Advising Requirement Codes are appropriately assigned, in collaboration with the services specialists of graduation.
- Procure and process transfer credit evaluations from TWU faculty to ensure timely evaluations and posting.
- Liaise with faculty and students to provide information and answer concerns related to transfer credit.
- Prepare data and reports on Transfer credits as required.
- Coordinate graduation ceremony planning in collaboration with University Events Team as required.
- Provide training of new graduation specialist(s) as required.
- Attend conferences organized by BC Council of Admissions and Transfers as required.
- Provide vacation coverage for graduation service specialists as required.

**Standards & Requirements**

**Education**: Bachelor’s Degree is required.

**Experience**: 2-3 years required in office settings which includes administrative responsibilities is required. Experience in higher education and experience in working with international students is an asset.
