**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Social Media Content Creation and Management**
- Create and manage video and image content for social media platforms, focusing on engaging short-form videos and reels.
- Manage all social media channels on an ongoing basis.
- Create and distribute blog, article and newsletter content.
- Develop and implement video content plans that align with marketing objectives.
- Handle messages, comments, and community interactions on social platforms.
- Coordinate with influencers to promote gondola experiences and tourism-related content.
- Plan and capture events and programs. Edit and prepare video/audio for distribution.
- Track monthly social media analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Work with our external partners to co-market events and create content.
**2. Website Content Management**
- Oversee ongoing website content updates and management. - Conduct regular website audits to ensure information is current and accurate.
**3. Platform Expansion**
- Explore new opportunities to expand our presence on emerging platforms, such as TikTok and others.
- Share knowledge of new social media trends and platforms with the team to ensure everyone remains informed about social media advancements.
**4. Content Management**
- Update the content calendar weekly with social media, newsletter, and website activities
- Manage on-site advertising including TV screens and posters.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- Proven experience managing and curating content on YouTube.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with a proven ability using storytelling techniques to craft narratives that resonate with audiences and drive engagement.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms.
- Comfortable being in front of the camera; on-camera experience is important for creating engaging, relatable content.
- Ability to create engaging content tailored to different audience cohorts.
- Creative approach with the ability to generate new ideas to increase engagement.
- Proactive use of AI tools and technologies to enhance social media strategies, streamline content creation, and leverage analytics for informed decision-making.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience in influencer marketing.
- Understanding of website content management systems.
- Knowledge of the tourism or outdoor adventure industry is a plus.
- Video editing: ability to create, edit, and optimize video content for social media platforms, including short-form videos, promotional content, and engaging reels. Experience in on-camera video content creation is highly desirable.
- This position is primarily focused on content creation for digital media, including social media; however, experience with traditional print media is an advantage.
- This position is a full-time, onsite role, requiring 40 hours per week.
- Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Flexibility is required for frequent evening or weekend work to support events or campaign launches, which are always scheduled weeks/months in advance.
- Ability to perform extended periods of computer work.
- Satisfactory criminal record check is required.
