**ABI Support Worker - **_**Oshawa, Whitby, Bowmanville**_

Now hiring an experienced ABI Support Worker, part-time, to support a male client with ABI in his home (LTC) and throughout the Oshawa, Whitby, and Bowmanville communities. It would be helpful if you spoke Italian, but not necessary. No personal care is required.

Please note that _**this is not a clinic-based rehabilitation position**_._

This role would be best for someone with experience supporting individuals with ABI, who is friendly, and reliable, with a good sense of humour. Time spent with our client will include visiting local shops and restaurants, community events, participating in a seniors’ social club, and other structured activities within the community and LTC facility, etc.

**Requirements**:
**Must**:

- Have a valid full G Driver’s License.
- Have a reliable vehicle to travel with the client throughout the community.
- Be vaccinated for COVID-19.
- Have a current Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Have a current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Be flexible, have strong communication skills, and possess a willingness to learn - ongoing training provided.
- Preference will be given to those living in or near the Whitby/Oshawa/Bowmanville areas.
