Warehouse Technician

If this sounds like you, then SMS Equipment may have just the position you are looking for Reporting to the Parts Manager, our** Warehouse Technicians pick, ship, receive, and maintain inventory**, warehouse and yard to provide accurate and timely service to internal and external customers.

The work schedule for this position is **5x2**.

The hourly rate for this position is **$38.21 per hour plus applicable premiums.**

Duties included, but not limited to:

- Shipping and receiving
- Picking parts orders
- Warehouse and yard maintenance
- Forklift operation and maintenance
- Daily cycle counting and warehouse inventory
- Dealing with customers and suppliers

Qualifications:

- Have a strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety
- Previous industry related work experience
- Forklift, WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Fire Extinguisher, TDG, First Aid, and Hoisting and Rigging training an asset.
- Strong customer service skills
- Working knowledge of computers
- Pre-employment Medical
- Drug and Alcohol check
- Drivers Abstract
