Under the Direction of Community Services, the program manager for youth 2nd line services of Social Services will ensure the proper support to the team delivering services and will; along with the other youth manager; coordinate youth services on the Hudson coast. Responsibilities include sexual violence, youth mental health along with the CAFE program and other psychosocial services to the needs of 0-21 year old clientele, as well as act as liaison manager for the youth protection and the Nunavimmi ilagiit papatauvinga services to ensure the continuum of services to the youth in difficulty clientele. The program manager plays a key role in maintaining services, developing new services, and managing human resources, both Inuit and non-Inuit. The program manager also carries a variety of administrative responsibilities.
**Qualifications**
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field of study
**Experience required**
Minimum of 2 years management experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in youth health and social services field
Experience working in Inuit culture an asset
**Essential skills and aptitudes**
Proven management skills
Well-developed interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Good oral communication skills in English, Inuktitut and French
Knowledge of Inuit culture and tradition an asset
**Conditions and benefits**
Annual salary between $78,482 and $102,026
