Required:

- Culinary arts degree
- Proficiency in planning, preparation, purchasing, sanitation and people management and electronic inventory management systems
- Investment in positive team leadership
- Experience in design and execution of all scales of catering
- Highly motivated with the ability to work to drive growth
- Proven experience meeting timelines and seasonal influxes in workload

**Responsibilities**:

- Designing unique seasonal, event and specialty casual and fine dining menus
- Planning all new menus complete with product testing, costing and equipment budgets to ensure the highest quality and maximized revenues
- Participate with the Trail Hub team in creating unique food related event themes
- Pricing, designing and executing all sizes of catering requirements
- Managing food ordering, labor management, inventory and supplies, licensing guidelines and health and safety requirements
- Ensure food, beverage and labour budgets are maintained and monitored
- Ensure supervision and management of kitchen staff
- Ensure proper maintenance and monitoring of all kitchen equipment
- Develop and implement an allergen policy and train and monitor delivery with staff team
- Lead the training of all restaurant staff including all standard operating procedures
- Manage department inventory and cost of goods through regular inventory counts, accurate ordering of supplies and consistent waste control
- Ensure that all financial (invoices, reports, bills etc.) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$100,029.84 per year

- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Uxbridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Management: 2 years (preferred)
