Our **Red Deer Home Centre** is looking for a casual **Home Centre Associate** to join our team.

**Casual**: less than 24 hours/week.

**Availability requirements**: Weekdays - mornings (7:00 AM start), afternoons and evenings (up to 8:00 PM) and Weekends - mornings (7:00 AM start), afternoons and evenings (up to 6:00 PM).

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and respond to customer requests,
- Be familiar with all products handled,
- Be alert to new product information in order to maintain current knowledge of all products,
- Cashier duties; process sale transactions in an accurate manner,
- Prepare special orders and manage inventory,
- Restock shelves and support with inventory counts,
- Assist in merchandise display,
- Complete sales calls,
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment,
- Assist with moving products during store renovations,
- Loading products, cutting flooring,
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Exceptional customer service skills,
- Attention to detail and quality,
- Ability to work independently and in a team,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.),
- Must be over the age of 14 (Employment Standards requires a permit to employ a person age 14 or under; therefore, disclosure is required).
