Offer guidance and support in the preparation of business plans for new services including external market and financial analysis, internal resource requirements, and sales plans.
Deliver high-level policy, strategic and technical advice regarding regulatory initiatives and issues; advise on regulatory and market issues and provide financial and economic analysis to support filings.
Provide project review analysis, including financial, quality, risk, resource(s), customer impacts and regulatory requirements.
Ensure our organization is in compliance with British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) directives and adheres to regulations from other regulatory bodies. What it takes:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited post-secondary institution in a relevant field such as economics, finance, or business, plus a minimum of eight years of relevant experience, including some years in the energy industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent analytical skills and attention-to-detail.
Exceptional communications and decision-making skills to develop cross departmental partnerships and collaborate on strategic initiatives.
A demonstrated understanding of energy systems and the regulatory environment.
An appetite for growth and an interest in innovation.
