R&d Fabricator

To meet the growing demand for our product we’re currently seeking an **_R&D Fabricator._** In this position you will assist the R&D team with product development projects and assignments. You’ll collaborate with other team members across the company to solve critical problems throughout the product development process.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Assisting with design, fabrication and assembly of concepts and prototypes
- Designing and fabricating jigs and fixtures for testing and replicating various field conditions
- Collaborate with engineers and production employees to identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process
- Testing prototypes to verify product reliability and make adjustments as required
- Participate in product development projects, which include researching and developing ideas for new and current existing products

**We’re looking for**:

- 3 years of MIG welding experience
- Experience with Oxy acetylene, plasma cutting and carbon arc gouging
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work with mínimal supervision (time management and organizational skills)
- Computer skills including CAD experience would be considered an asset
- Experience in metal fabrication using saw, drill, lathe and/or mill an asset
