**Position Summary**

The Warehouse Technican would be responsible for assisting in the performance of various tasks in the service office, shop, and occasionally in the field. This includes but is not limited to ordering, receipt, shipment, storage, and organization of equipment, spare parts, supplies, and other materials, processing of service orders (90% of the time), as well as occasionally providing help in equipment inspections, assembly, and conducting field service calls when needed (10% of the time).

**Responsibilities**
- Ordering and keeping track of spare parts and supplies required for shop and field service work, including inputting and keeping the ERP system and all related documentation updated in the network folders.
- Coordinating with vendors on the ordering and delivery of parts, supplies, and other materials.
- Organizing all the documentation and records of all shop and field service work in coordination with the Shop Technician (s) and Field Service Technician (s).
- Assisting in inventory counts at set frequencies or when needed.
- Generating, processing, and filing work orders and stock transfer orders as required.
- Keeping the system updated for all receipts and shipments as required.
- Verifying and preparing documentation for all incoming and outgoing shipments, including printing of delivery tickets and waybills, and performing quality checks of deliveries as required
- Filing daily forklift inspections and other documentation in the appropriate folders, and informing the Service Manager of deficiencies as required.
- Assisting in shop and field service work when required
- Performing other duties as directed by the Service Manager

**Requirements**:

- Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong data entry and computer skills (i.e. MS Office Suite)
- Experienced in working with materials/inventory management systems
- Detail-oriented
- Organized, quick learner, and resourceful
- Able to prioritize
- Self-directed and can work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong team player
- Good interpersonal skills
- Has aptitude and inclination to develop technical knowledge and skills
- Has a strong safety mindset
- Fluency in French is an asset, but not a prerequisite
- Has aptitude and/or interest in working with rotating equipment such as pumps and compressors is a plus
- Graduate in a technical or skilled trade course related to working with machinery and equipment is a plus
- Licensed to operate a forklift is a plus

This position is based in Brampton, Ontario

Employment status: Full-time permanent

**Salary**: Competitive wages starting at $21.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
