Axe Staffing & Recruiting is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our client's dynamic team as an Office Manager. Our client is a well-established têxtile company based in Toronto, Ontario, with a rich history dating back to 1950. As the Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office, enabling the company to maintain its high standards of integrity and client satisfaction. This is an onsite position located in Toronto, Ontario.

Founded in 1950 from a humble kitchen cupboard in the College & Ossington area, our client has since grown into a dynamic, multi-faceted têxtile company based in Toronto, Ontario.

They were the first pantyhose manufacturer in North America and are still family owned and operated to this day.

For decades, their integrity, business conduct, and dedication to clients have made them the prime choice in manufacturing for brands and retailers.

Our client's têxtile company comprises many divisions, including two Canadian facilities and a worldwide network of outsourcing partners. They employ the most experienced staff who have worked in the têxtile industry for many years.

Their philosophy is to treat every client as a partner. This ensures that they both share the same objectives in developing products for the end consumer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the executive team and other departments as required. This includes managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, preparing documents, and coordinating meetings.
- Office Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a well-functioning and professional work environment. This includes managing office supplies, equipment maintenance, and liaising with vendors and service providers.
- Human Resources: Assist with HR functions, such as coordinating recruitment efforts, onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and managing employee benefits and leave requests.
- Financial Management: Support financial operations by managing payroll, processing expenses, and maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Communication and Coordination: Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and employees. Facilitate effective communication within the organization and ensure information flows smoothly between different departments.
- Event Planning: Coordinate and organize company events, meetings, and conferences. This includes arranging venues, catering, travel arrangements, and logístical support.
- Office Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement office policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Regularly review and update policies as needed.

**Salary Range**:The salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience level and qualifications.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience (5+ years) as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of HR procedures and practices is an asset.
- Familiarity with financial processes and basic accounting principles.
- Proactive and resourceful problem solver, able to anticipate needs and take initiative.
- High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
