**Location**
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct field inspections or data collection of City-owned assets including: park, stormwater, and right-of-way infrastructure etc.
- Use the City’s Geographic Information System (GIS) to field collect, edit and geo-reference spatial data for various infrastructure types
- Assist in the maintenance of digital files of engineering drawings, plans, reports into the City’s ImageSite document management system
- Perform spatial and non-spatial queries on infrastructure data and assets
- Carry out other assignments related to asset planning, as required

**Requirements**:

- 3rd or 4th year Geography, Environmental Studies, Urban Planning or Civil Engineering
- GIS knowledge is an asset but not mandatory.
- Field data collection or survey experience is also preferred
- Must have reliable transportation to and from sites
- This position may require occasional travel between sites and/or City facilities.
