Edmonton, Canada Vitality Health Foods - Callingwood Full time

Vitality Health Foods is hiring for a position in the west-end (Callingwood) Edmonton, Alberta.

This position would be part-time (15 - 20 hours per week) - Weekdays and Weekends.

Experience in the natural health industry and retail is a MUST.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES will include but not limited to**:

- Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with questions or concerns, providing guidance on natural health products.
- Maintains and offers an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, essential minerals, dried herbs and skin care products to customers
- Receives inventory and price merchandize on a daily/weekly basis
- Perform cashier duties
- Maintains safe, well-organized, clean working and shopping environment
- Assist with ordering, and inventory management

**SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 1-2 year work experience is required with strong knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and dried herb products.
- High school diploma or equivalent supplemented with college courses in nutrition or related field is highly desired
- Must have passion for holistic health
- Good listener, courteous, caring professional, and very patient at all times - especially when dealing with the elderly, are qualities that will be highly important
- Must have good working knowledge of Computers (Microsoft Office), Internet and Social Media
- Effective strong communication (oral and written) skills.
- Professional and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including evenings and weekends

References will be required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Shift:

- 4 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Work Location: In person
