**Position Overview**

As a Floor Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in a warehouse, your role involves managing a variety of crucial tasks to ensure efficiency, accuracy of order fulfillment, safety, and product integrity.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
- While adhering to policies and procedures as well as regulatory compliance, oversee the receiving and shipping of products to and from the warehouse on behalf of customers.
- Develop and direct the implementation of warehouse standards, with a focus on accuracy, to achieve maximum productivity.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in selecting, unloading, loading, moving and storing of product.
- Lead and monitor the picking and packing process for web, store and licensee orders.
- Hold staff accountable, review under-performers with management and follow up accordingly.
- Prioritize each day based on the workflow at hand, coordinate resources accordingly.
- Check accuracy of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in packing slips and BOLs.
- Respond to issues that impact the productivity schedule and/or quality of the operation, as well as the health and safety of the employees.
- Inspect material -handling equipment, racking and dock doors and plates, daily and weekly as required.
- Oversee security, sanitation and general upkeep of warehouse, including regular maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with employees.
- Assign co-workers daily, weekly tasks based on the needs of the business.
- Train employees, including orientation training, remedial training, and training as required on use of equipment, health & safety, processes and customer service.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by the Warehouse Manager of Operations.
- Maintain regular communications with departments to ensure needs of the business are being met.

**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma
- Certificate or Diploma in Business, Accounting or related field an asset
- 3 years of warehouse experience in a supervisory role or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP-BI and WM inventory system

**Working Environment**

As a Floor Supervisor working in a warehouse with office space in an open area, you should be prepared for both administrative and physical demands in this role. The added detail about working conditions and physical requirements means you must balance office tasks with hands-on warehouse duties.

Monday - Friday (8:00am-4:30pm)
