Bedford, Canada Municipal Group of Companies Full time

Dexter Construction is a large, diversified Construction Company engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction industry within the Atlantic Provinces and we are currently seeking a Full-time Stockroom Clerk. This position will be based out of Bedford, N.S.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Physical and electronic receiving of inventoryHandle and storage of all parts and inventoryInventory management, cycle countsCleanliness of warehouseFollow up of short ship and damaged goodsShipping and receiving dutiesMaintain stock levels – order reorderUse company supplied inventory management systemPurchasing of inventoryParts pick-up (with the use of a company vehicle)Support operations and maintenance staff with counter serviceWork closely with operations and maintenance personnel to ensure adequate stock levelsAll other duties as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:

2 + years’ experience in a warehouse environmentForklift experience considered an assetIndoor and outdoor activity required Ability of lifting up to 50lbsWillingness to work in a team environmentAbility to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible mannerAbility to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisorsWorking safely is a condition of employment.
