The Camp Coordinator is responsible for the Day Camp participants and Counselors. The Camp Coordinator is the main point of contact between children, counselors and parents. The role of the Camp Coordinator is to ensure camper and parent satisfaction. They are present every day at camp and are responsible for ensuring that the overall camp operations are properly maintained. The Camp Coordinator is actively involved in programming, organizing and scheduling prior to the camp start date.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist in hiring and training Counselors
- Attend management trainings and meetings
- Prepare and assist with programming and scheduling
- Participate in recruitment events
- Attend a staff retreat training weekend (June)
- Assist in pre camp overall preparations (supplies, planning, liaison with families and staff)
- Handling and tracking all financial transactions that occur at camp
- Managing and coaching staff
- Performing staff evaluations
- Work directly with the Day Camp Director to ensure the smooth operational status of camp
- Work with the Day Camp Director to create invoices and ensure that payments are made
- Prepare expense reports for their location
- Report all concerns, incidents while maintaining constant communication with management to ensure that all information is being passed on
- Provide a high level of front-line customer service by communicating with parents, listen to concerns and be the main point of contact for all inquiries and questions
- Maintain a safe environment for staff and children
- Hold weekly meetings with your staff

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Bilingual (French and English spoken);
- Camp experience (not mandatory but an asset)
- Computer literate, experience with Microsoft office (excel, word, etc.)
- Management experience
- Available and full-time hours for the summer camp season (minimum 35 hours per week for 8 weeks)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 11 weeks

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
