**Job Description**:
Purpose of Position

Key Responsibilities-
- Serves as the HRIS functional specialist supporting HCM area in Workday, such as Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits Administration, Position Management, etc.- Supports the implementation of retroactive salary adjustments for the unions (including Step Progression approach), identifies issues and works on resolutions during the process:
- Prepares EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders) for data loading to Workday:- Validates salary adjustment calculations done in excel; ensures information matching with compensation history in Workday.-
- Accurately transfers salary adjustment information to EIBs.-
- Organizes the EIBs for upload to Workday based on salary adjustment schedule.-
- Validates employee compensation history in Workday to ensure salary adjustments are uploaded/implemented correctly.-
- Liaises with payroll to complete testing and payout process.-
- Create reports for costing and approval purposes.-
- Works with IT/Deloitte (as required) to support testing and validation of all changes related to the retroactive salary adjustments/costing/approval.-
- Creates process documents and identifies opportunities for process enhancement.-
- Work closely with HR leadership, business partners and technical teams to gather, define and document requirements, provide recommendations, document changes for change control purposes, design and implement solutions, and ensure user ease of adoption.- Collaborates with Human Resources Business Partners in service delivery.- Provides direction, mentoring and guidance to the HR team members on all Workday related matters and issues resolution.- Liaises with Information Technology specialists to collaborate on, and support complex and new functionality; the creation, review, and participation in functional and regression testing for all system fixes, upgrades, patches, and other maintenance - including bi-annual Workday releases and new system features.- Designs and develops user procedures, guidelines, and documentation to support change management and participates in the communication of changes and benefits to users as the HR lead for Workday. Provides oversight in the creation and maintenance of Workday related functionalities in Compensation, Absence, and Benefit plans including evaluating relationships between plans, eligibility rules, business process definitions, and integrations.- Works in collaboration with colleagues across Human Resources on department priorities for FSRA and with Payroll on HRIS matters.

**Qualifications**:
Education and Experience- Undergraduate degree in a related field of study, such as Business, and certificate in an accredited Human Resources program- Minimum of 3 years HRIS experience, Workday experience included.- Solid understanding and expertise in Workday’s HCM modules (including Core and Advanced Compensation)- HR functional experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills- Excellent MS Excel and HR analytical skills.- Strong understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management- Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.- Skilled in providing expertise, advice, and training on Workday to colleagues.- Skilled to drive and communicate change based on new system functionality.- Proven customer service skills and a committed team player- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
