Supply and Shipping Manager

Seasonal greenhouse looking for someone to help coordinate and schedule plant shipments, oversee deliveries, shop for supplies, assist with maintenance, and other office duties.

This is not a retail greenhouse.

This a long term, seasonal position.

A background or general knowledge and understanding of agriculture is an asset but not a deal breaker.

Be willing to come back in this position for several consecutive years.

We are offering 12-16 weeks of work.

**Essential for this position**

Must speak good clear English and have good reading & writing skills.

Be punctual and dependable.

Have good people skills and be respectful.

Conduct themselves professionally with staff and customers.

Be comfortable giving staff instructions and direction.

A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to get to work.

Being able to walk reasonable distances.

**Realistic expectations for work.**

March and April Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Sometimes earlier starts and some Saturdays (25-45 hours depending on abilities)

Peak season hours are May to mid-June (40-70hrs) 6-7 days/week. 6am-6pm

We work shorter days in slow times and longer days when the weather is good and fields are fit to plant.

Jeans and T-shirt environment.
