Bookkeeper

A bookkeeper meticulously tracks and records financial transactions for businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Using software or manual methods, they maintain organized records of income, expenses, and assets. Collaborating with accountants, bookkeepers play a vital role in producing financial reports and aiding in analysis.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain meticulous and up-to-date financial records for all aspects of the poultry processing plant's operations.
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and inventory management.
- Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements and closely monitor cash flow to uphold financial stability.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular and timely basis.
- Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets, providing valuable insights to ensure fiscal responsibility and efficiency.
- Execute accurate and timely payroll processing, including the calculation of tax withholdings and deductions.
- Analyze financial data in collaboration with management to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations governing accounting practices and financial reporting.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical conduct in handling sensitive financial information.
- Facilitate audit processes by providing comprehensive documentation and explanations as required.
