**Main functions**:

- Maintain methods and schedules to achieve the company's productivity objectives
- Lead, coordinate and schedule the work for the production operators (caffeine and decaf production department)
- Evaluate the performance of the operators of the departments once a year
- Ensure the proper operation of production equipment
- Execute demand for materials and supplies
- Resolve any problems or labor issues that may arise during production activities
- Recommend corrective actions using a continuous approach to improving productivity and product quality
- Ensure data recording and control of documents and batch records at the end of each shift
- Prepare production and other reports for the production operation
- Participate in the execution of the quality system
- Oversee the cleaning crew and ensure cleanliness of the place
- Write the operating procedures
- Train new staff: procedures, safety procedures, company policies and ensure documentation of staff training
- Execute other functions or special project if required

**Skills**:

- **Education**:_ Chemical Engineering degree, Chemistry degree or 5 + years working in food production manufacturing.
- **Years of experience related to the job**:_ 2+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical or food processing environment. _1-2 years experience managing a team_. Have good expertise in equipment such as reactors, filter presses, centrifuges, dryers and machine tools. Have a good knowledge of the cGMP environment. AT
- **Language**:_ write and speak fluently **English, French**

- Strong analytical and communication skills are important.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
