The Program Manager, Information Security Program provides thought and execution leadership for developing their program in alignment with Ontario Health’s (OH) strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals for the program. The Program Manger develops budgets, funding proposals, and operating plans enabling the successful ongoing execution of the program.

The Program Manger engages broadly with a variety of senior stakeholders, both within Ontario Health and across the health sector. Using expert communication skills, the Program Manager communicates effectively across multiple portfolios and OH Regions, and externally with key OH stakeholders, including Ministry, Health Service Providers, and clients serviced by the program. The Program Manager forms strong collaborative working relationships to effectively influence and deliver expected outcomes.

The Program Manager leads the achievement of the following information security program objectives and activities, in alignment with OH values and the Digital Excellence in Health (DxH) operating model:
- Manage information security initiatives to ensure security investments are in line with security program roadmaps and strategic goals/business needs of the organization while effectively managing organizational security risks and resources for optimal value and performance- Communicate successfully with partners and drive accountability across teams to ensure program objectives are met;- Gather and examine customer and internal information security team needs and opportunities for new information security services, products and projects;- Drive security program needs cross-functionally with products, finance, HR, Procurement including tracking and reporting of progress and metrics

Here is what you will be doing:
- Manage project managers who are leading security program projects with broad scope, ambiguity, and high degree of difficulty;- Manage and provide direct security oversight for contract and SoW requirements;- Create reports, documents, presentations, forms, fillable PDFs, spreadsheets, and charts, as needed;- Leading program and execution activities in accordance with the mission, vision, and goals of Ontario Health.- Developing the program to support the strategic direction of the stakeholders.- Creating and managing long-term goals and supporting objectives for the program.- Developing and maintaining a strategy, budget, and operating plan for the program in consultation with OH enterprise supports. e.g. Finance, Human Resources, Procurement- Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement. Includes the crafting of metrics and indicators.- Writing program funding proposals to support uninterrupted delivery of services.- Ensuring goals are met in key areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and performance.- Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved within supporting projects and workstreams.- Producing communication plans and meeting with stakeholders to make communication meaningful and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on program services.- Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status.- Oversight of the interaction and execution of the multiple projects and workstreams supporting the program.- Analyzing and managing program risks.- Other duties as assigned or required.

Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience- An undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Science, Health System Planning, Information Systems, or Computer Sciences; or equivalent experience.. A graduate degree is preferred; or equivalent experience.- 10+ years of overall related work experience with progressively increasing scope of accountabilities and decision impact.- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience leading project teams and planning execution to reach desired outcomes.- Experience and analytical abilities in solving problems in which are typically unusual and difficult and require gathering and interpreting complex qualitative or quantitative data;- Experience gained from effectively communicating and interacting with a variety of stakeholders including senior leaders, funders, and executives.- Experience in the Ontario health care sector and public service, with existing positive relationships an asset.- Understanding of formal change management methodologies and practices used to drive behavioral changes.- Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and elements, both technical and governace;- Experience working in a hybrid environment, equally comfortable working with teams online or in person.- Experience planning and leading large meetings
