**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
- Support the whole AMERICAS RSC Product Line to reach the “Best in Class” quality level with our suppliers.
- Ensure the delivery of on-cycle Supplier quality activities, related to Supplier Quality Serial and Supplier Quality Project.

**MAIN RESPONSABILITIES**

**Deliver / organize the delivery of the Supplier Quality activities during the development phases of the projects**:

- Supplier Quality project: support interactions with Sites, Projects and Tenders to anticipate and deliver the Supplier Product Development activities, including:

- Reinforce SQ Project role across sites
- Lead improvement plan initiatives with Procurement to reinforce collaborating between SQ Project and Procurement Project Teams
- Support as required SQ Project Team for critical Tenders (AMERICAS RSC and TDS)
- Conduct the necessary activities with Supplier Quality Project and SPQD Teams to ensure First Article Inspection Go on time
- Support the REX by commodities with SPQD, SQD and SQ Sites Teams

**Develop teams and improve efficiency of the organization**
- Animate the Supplier Quality Sites RSC AMERICAS network
- Contribute to the assessment and reinforcement of the Supplier Quality competences within the RSC AMERICAS organization
- Propose and lead synergies/improvement actions within the Supplier Quality organization, considering:

- Support standard NCR cell deployment
- Animate Supplier’s NCR performance and reduction plan
- Animate APSYS SQ roadmap with Site SQ (Q05 to Q08) and specific APSYS improvement plan with sites
- Support Quality basics initiatives with SQ Sites for top critical Suppliers
- Training and qualification management for SQ Team
- SQ Serial workload and staffing sizing standardization + identify potential synergies
- Regional SQ Site network, SQ Dashboard and animation and top offender validation with Procurement
- Audit sites in a regular basis to confirm alignment and areas of improvement
- Standardization of incoming inspection including dynamic control plans, control plan setting / parts typologies, etc.
- Audit sites in a regular basis to confirm alignment and areas of improvement
- Share best practices between sites
- Consolidate and analyse Supplier Quality workload within the RSC AMERICAS organization, give orientations in term of budget and strategy for the Supplier Quality organization to Quality Directors.
- Analyse the improvement needs in Supplier Quality local organizations and support associated action plans. Ensure autonomy of the region in the delivery of SQ activities and trainings

**Develop and deploy Supplier Quality Processes and Sharing of good practices**
- Represent the voice of the AMERICAS RSC Organization in Supplier Quality management team.
- Contribute to the definition and the continuous improvement of Alstom standard processes for Supplier Quality (function standards, processes, tools, methods) and ensure they are appropriate, lean and efficient regarding RSC AMERICAS Organization’s challenges.
- Ensure their smooth and efficient deployment within RSC AMERICAS Organization, relying on global Supplier Quality expertise when needed.
- Align Supplier Quality within the RSC AMERICAS Organization on Alstom Supplier Quality ways of working.
- Be the ambassador of “one Alstom Supplier team” within RSC AMERICAS Organization.

**Strengthen Suppliers performance within the Region**
- Develop the right sense of urgency within RSC AMERICAS Organization and at Suppliers to cure quality & safety issues.
- Animate Non-Conformity reactivity & resolution process.
- Drive actions and continuous improvement plans to ensure proper deliverables from suppliers and reduce the Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ), the Non-Conformity Report (NCR), recurrent defects due to Suppliers.
- Coach local teams to ensure customer protection & root causes analysis.
- Ensure feedback to RSC AMERICAS Procurement and other Supplier Quality teams with relevant data, based on Supplier Quality Site’s inputs
- Challenge Site’s action plan with main suppliers to reach targets, when sites face difficulties
- Contribute to Suppliers Risks management with Procurement in lead

**Support the RSC AMERICAS Organization to meet Supplier Quality Excellence**
- Ensure the on-time consolidation, the analysis, the review of AMERICAS RSC Supplier Quality results & purpose and lead any relevant actions to meet the targets.
