Handyman/woman/maintenance

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing systems, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of the building to identify any maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Weld and fabricate metal structures as needed.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document completed tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment repairs.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Electrical knowledge including the ability to work with electrical systems safely.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
- Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus.
- Leadership skills to effectively manage maintenance projects and coordinate with other team members.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with tenants or building occupants.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is required.

**Salary**: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- millwright: 1 year (preferred)
