Job Summary:

**Responsibilities**:

- Set-up and maintain an area/shop for performing repair work and small fabrication jobs
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment, identify & perform repairs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff when required
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions/breakdowns & advise when outside help is needed; work with outside mechanical/electrical contractors on troubleshooting repairing equipment
- Do small fabrication & weld repairs as required
- Assist with production when required
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times

**Experience**:

- Mechanical aptitude, experience repairing equipment
- Great organization skills with attention to detail
- Fabrication/welding experience
- Operate forklift
- Great people skills, listener and collaborator
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Pay: $18.41-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
