Halibut House is currently seeking an experienced **Cook **to supervise the back-of-house operations for its Barrie location.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Co-ordinate Kitchen Operations, including daily prep and cooking
- Ensure that meals are prepared in a timely manner in accordance with Halibut House recipes, plating specifications, etc.
- Ensure food quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization storage and sanitation of food products
- Clean and organize the kitchen at all times.Follow all checklists and cleaning schedules as provided
- Maintain inventory levels
- Train new Line Cooks
- Other duties, as required
**Experience**:
- Passion for the kitchen
- 2 - 4 years cooking and food storage/safety expertise
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
- Possess Food Handler Certificate
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
**Salary**: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
