- **Position Summary**_
- Mindful in Bloom is seeking 2-3 compassionate and dedicated Behavioural Support Workers to join our team The Behavioural Support Worker will provide ABA services in a 1:1, group, classroom, community and in-home settings for individuals with ASD duel diagnosis, ADHD and developmental delays for both private and OAP funded clients.

- **Location**_
- Primarily Etobicoke, but employees can expect to receive clients in the GTA.
- **Responsibilities**_
- Monitor clients' progress and effectiveness of individualized programs
- Implement ABA/IBI programs under the direction of a Senior Therapist (ST)
- Accurately and fluently record data throughout sessions daily for family and ST review
- Take ABC and NET data daily
- Ability to grow within the company
- Comfortable with on-going, weekly supervision
- Aid in facilitating assessments with Senior Therapist
- Communicate with parents and external educational and/or healthcare professionals
- Flag exceptional circumstances to Senior Therapist in regards to changes to program and behaviors
- Work collaboratively with team members in the treatment planning process
- Ability to work weekdays with multiple clients experiencing diverse needs
- Material preparation on a weekly basis
- Ability to work with individuals who require substantial behavioral intervention and support, inclusive of physical and emotional needs
- Have a flexible and enthusiastic attitude
- Willingness and desire to learn
- **What you bring to the role**_
- University degree or College diploma in behavioral sciences, social services, psychology or early childhood education
- Minimum of 1 year work experience required (2 years work experience preferred)
- Equivalent education and experience may be considered
- Team lead/mentor experience an asset
- Have a deep understanding of early childhood education, autism and applied behaviour analysis
- Previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities and/or Autism
- Available to work in home and school/center-based
- An interest in professional development and further developing clinical skills
- Strong interpersonal and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and accept feedback and direction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Access to a reliable means of transportation (e.g., public transportation, personal vehicle)
- Comfortable working in a structured environment
- Demonstrates reliability and dependability
- Satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR-C Certification
- Up-to-date Immunization record
- Must reside in and be legally able to work in Canada
- **Working Conditions**_
- Daycare classroom, school or home-based settings
- Must be willing to perform cleaning duties as needed
- Ability to spend most of the day at the child’s level (i.e. sitting on the floor, or on child height chairs)
- Able to bend, stoop and lift child to adult height (up to 20 kg) and to move children’s furniture or equipment to prepare room for programming needs.
- **Hourly wage**:_$23-27/hour_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 35 per week
