**Job Summary**:
The Rental and Retail Procurement and Merchandising Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize the procurement and merchandising processes for both our rental and retail divisions. This role requires a strong focus on revenue growth, profitability, and the achievement of KPIs related to inventory management, product assortment, vendor relationships, and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Strategic Planning**: Develop and implement procurement and merchandising strategies aligned with the company's revenue and growth objectives.

**Vendor Management**: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure favorable terms, cost savings, and product quality.

**Inventory Management**: Oversee inventory planning and management to optimize stock levels, reduce carrying costs, and minimize out-of-stock situations.

**Product Assortment**: Collaborate with VP and Resort teams to curate a product assortment that aligns with customer preferences, market trends, and company objectives.

**Revenue Growth**: Drive revenue growth through efficient merchandising, effective pricing strategies, product promotions, and inventory optimization.

**Cost Control**: Implement cost-saving initiatives, structured right sizing of labour force while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.

**KPI Achievement**: Track and monitor key performance indicators related to procurement and merchandising, regularly reporting on progress, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

**T**eam Leadership**: Lead and mentor resort rental and retail team of department heads, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

**Compliance**: Ensure company policies and compliance with relevant industry regulations and ethical standards in procurement and merchandising activities.

**Market Research**: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to make data-driven decisions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field and/or experience.
- Proven experience in procurement, merchandising, or a related role with a strong track record of revenue growth and achieving KPIs.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Canadian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel frequently to RCR resorts and buying shows.
