We are a fast growing company and are looking to expand our Accounting Department. Reporting to the Controller this position will be responsible for processing the bi weekly payroll and assisting the Controller in Accounts payable; Accounts Receivable and GL reconciliations. If you are looking to work in a friendly enviroment, being on the ground level of a expanding company, are organized, and able to multitask in a busy often inturrupted enviroment we would love to hear from you.

Payroll Processing:

- Time Entry
- Ensures all time is accurate and entered on a timely basis.
- Process new hires, terminations, changes to pay and any other related information
- Issue ROEs and respond to payroll and/or benefits related enquiries
- Manage Benefit and Payroll deductions
- Review monthly group insurance invoices to ensure accuracy;
- Accurate and timely processing of Bi Weekly Payrolls
- Ensure payroll compliance with legislative, government and regulatory bodies
- Assist Controller with WCB filings and Payroll assessment
- Assist in the preparation and review of all year-end payroll related documentation, including T4s, returns, etc;
- Must have a high degree of confidentiality relative to personal data, salary data and associate benefits information;
- Ensure integrity, consistency, and reliability by inputting data accurately and completely

Accounts Payable:

- Entering Vendor Invoices into Quickbooks
- Attaching Digital Accounts Payable Invoices to Invoices entered
- Vendor Statement reconciliations done monthly ensuring all invoices are entered into the system
- Assist in the Accounts Payable Process

Accounts Receivable:

- Calculating billing amounts, and printing and mailing bills for the shop and field operations
- Organizing and updating digital or paper records

Other Durites as required
- General Ledger reconciliations
- Information reporting as required

**Education: (5)**
- Minimun Completion of a 2 year Diploma in Business Accounting

**Experience: (4)**
- 3-5years’ experience in an payroll and accounting
- Industry knowledge and familiarity with Quickbooks is an asset
