Our client, a global engineering leader, is hiring a Senior Planner/Scheduler for strategic project planning. This role involves complex schedule preparation, overseeing subordinate staff, and collaborating with project management for enhanced execution.

**Responsibilities**:

- Senior-level position with advanced knowledge and expertise in project planning and scheduling.
- Plans, conducts, and may supervise work of self and others, demonstrating the ability to lead project teams.
- Participates in cross-functional collaboration and provides self-initiated technical guidance.
- Assigns and reviews work of subordinate scheduling staff, providing informed guidance and regularly giving job-related guidance to department staff as a senior advisor.
- Responsible for ensuring policy conformity and soundness of approach in assigned work.
- Brings a specialized depth of expertise, gaining mastery in a single area or multiple broader areas of specialization.
- Typically has 10+ years of relevant experience, with a strong background in Mining, Energy, Industrial, Heavy construction, Oil & Gas, or similar resource industries.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Primavera Planning is required.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of systems, processes, and tools related to the field.
- Able to inform and persuade on complex matters through the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and reports.

**Qualifications**:

- Required: University Degree, or equivalent, in a related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Preferred: Site Construction planning experience is an asset.
